Console
The recording studio setup is analog and is integrated with Protools HD D.A.W. through the Tascam M-3500 consoled, which was completely recapped and re-opped (with the fantastic Burr Brown op-amps) in 2011 by Massimo Pastori (effettidiclara) and Giuliano Nicoletti (Minus Habens).
Among our outboard equipment we can boast a pair of the very green and very rare Joemeek VC1Q; the Drawmer 1960 tube compressor pre-amp (chosen by artists like Eric Clapton, Madonna, Sheril Crow, Stevie Wonder and Bryan Adams).
For the more refined acoustic instruments and for the best voice-overs we have 4 Studer 900series pre-amp and EQ modules, with custom Neumann output transformers.
A Tascam 16Tk analog reel to reel tape recorder is also available for tracking or to add that special tape sound and feel to the protools mixes.
In our microphone collection we can boast the presence of a great Neumann U87 vintage condenser mic from the late 60’s!!
